Two cabinets can look identical in a showroom and be built to completely different standards. Certifications are how you tell them apart.
E0 & E1 Standards
The European E0 and E1 standards rate how much formaldehyde the composite board inside a cabinet releases, with E0 the strictest. E0-rated cabinetry releases almost none into your home's air — important in a room your family spends hours in every day.
GREENGUARD Gold
An even stricter, independently tested certification for low chemical emissions, with thresholds set for sensitive people including children. GREENGUARD Gold is the standard we hold our cabinetry to.
Why it matters for your warranty
Certified materials are also more dimensionally stable, so doors and boxes stay true over years of humidity swings. That stability is part of why we can stand behind our installations. When you compare quotes, ask every contractor what their cabinets are certified to — the answer tells you a lot.
